When you apply for a visa, you can let them know you plan to enter the country twice. I&#39;ve heard different things about how easy this is to accomplish as a first time visitor to china - but my first visa in was a two entry visa. They driver I negotiated with on the Erlian/China side took me there, dropped off people, picked up people and took me back. I ran a few random errands with him, but was in country for less than 30 minutes.
